Bracken County Public Library continually pursues grants and other funding sources, but the library depends on the tax money to operate. Like the public, every year the library sees cost increases in books, supplies, computer equipment/maintenance, general building maintenance, and insurance – including building, worker’s compensation, and health. The library board and staff take great care to assure the residents receive the greatest return on investment through high quality resources, programs, and facilities.
